Ariel Atom

Opensource it!

Ariel Atom. Wow. This is the car for me. It's fast, lightweight and affordable. Since it's so light I imagine it's pretty good on gas. Two options I can hope for are a top and a green engine. Dear Santa......

Pandora

Opensource it!

I ran across Pandora and have been playing with it all day (almost burned lunch). It's pretty cool. Basically, it's internet radio. However, it allows you to create your own stations by adding your fav artist. Each artist is it's own station with similar artists included. There's also a feature that allows you to blend your stations up for a random genre effect. No trouble adding bands, except dragonash. Japanese. It's a shame but whatev...er. Pandora includes a thumbs up/down rating feature for added filtering. It was a little heavy on the CPU resources but I'm using a pIII >1ghz so it's no surprise. Overall good product, good sound. I recommend. Of course, anything with 311 and Phish works for me, so I'm not really picky. I wish there was a pop out feature. Wanna share stations? Look me up under peacepipejv.

SNL Punched

Opensource it!

Instant classic if you ask me, but who's asking? This aired last Saturday. Hilarious! Those guys.

The cure for what ailes you

Opensource it!

Ha! More suppressed information for you to see and spread. I had a conversation a while back on this theory. I knew I was right. Time to put this information into action. Only thing left is to find access to those schematics and instructions. Help me out. If you find anything let me know. For anyone paranoid because of what you've heard about killer current, don't be. I was an electronics technician and have survived electric shocks much stronger than 100 milli amps. How many lighting strike victims that you've heard of have died?

Why it's illegal

Opensource it!

Here's an article defining the process and reasons of the criminalization of bud. Bud has many beneficial uses in today's society. It's far safer than alcohol and much harder to abuse. It has its spiritual and conscious effects. It allows one to think clearly. Good for therapy if the patient can handle a clear conscious. Great for depression and a plethora of other mental health issues. It also works extremely well as a pain medication. Got a stone to pass? Getting stoned helps make that pain go away. I imagine some will ignorantly scoff and skip the article. If you honestly have an open mind read it.

How high?

Opensource it!

Wow. I find no pleasure in the gambling aspect of Vegas and I can enjoy the nightlife frills just as easily here in Sacto. But this ride alone is enough to warrant any trip I would take to Vegas. The Stratosphere tower is the tallest observation deck in the US at 1,149 ft. I can't imagine how much more breathtaking an experience like this would compare to a climb of Mt. Fuji (only took me 3.5 hours) or hanging from the top of the mast of a ship. Especially considering how impressive both those experiences were. I gotta try this some day.

Rubic's cube

Opensource it!

Why not, right? One handed no less. It seems everywhere I look someone is breaking the record. I wish I knew what the most recent one is. These are the type of things I'm envious of. Not money or fame. Feats of the mind. Application of raw intelligence is where it's at brodys.

Opensource energy.

Opensource it!

This is nothing new. I imagine free energy is even the technology of ancient civilization. There's Nasa footage of UFO parking themselves above thunderstorms recharging. I believe the truths of quantum theory have been uncovered and are also suppressed cuz it may free us. To be wise to these things is to no longer require the services of the special interest globalists. They no nothing other than greed of control, absolute elitism. Our only defense is the spread of knowledge. The more people that know, the harder it is to suppress. If you are privy to sensitive information, spread it as exponentially as you can. If youre spreading info or just viewing some weird stuff on the web and you coincidentally loose your connection or even power don't worry. Just get back on and continue doing what you were doing. For one, you may have something. Also, There are too many people doing the same thing as you for them to really make an effort in the pursuit of handling you. Opensource information.

THIS IS SPARTA!!!

Opensource it!

THIS IS A WET FLOOR!!! with a 300 reference. I wouldn't mind viewing a page dedicated to 300 references like this example. Maybe I'll create a section on here. Matter fact, send me what you find. I'm pretty curious to see what develops on this subject.

I added a disclaimer somewhere over there ---->.
Heed it to avoid any confusion about my intentions.

In case of Emergency

Opensource it!

Terrorism is a very real threat. One should take precautions in any case of serious emergency. I here some of you saying, "but John, what if I don't know how to spot a terrorist?", and, "My in-laws are terrorists. Tell me what to do if you know so much." Look brah, I don't have all the answers. The government however, does. We don't have to worry about the WMDs thanks to El Capitano El Busho and his posse, and now, we can feel safe from the threat of your local terrorist. "But John, terrorists are people too. This is America, land of the free." TERRORIST FOUND! Follow instructions provided on yourself, please. Or are you a democrat? Don't make me Jihad yerazz! Where's your red-blooded Americanism? Every here and there I will post sage advice in case of terrorism and/or any other emergency, provided by the U.S. government (work for the gov and can't read? I got pictures, too. See, I'm a real American taking care of my people. I'm also a veteran). Look out for the direct link also.

Windows evolution

Opensource it!

Dang dawg. All these years, all these advancements in technology. Really, look what we have to show for it. One of the most widely used pieces of technology... is still a piece of crap. I know, I know, I still use it sometimes, I have my reasons, and not unless I need MS action. It's still good for some things, (like hot ex-girlfriends. Oh, oon't know what I mean. Poor you. *insert sarcastic sympethetic voice*)

Mario/300

Opensource it!

I'm telling you. Webcomics are where it's at. Maybe my favoritest form of dramatic expression. Here we see a retro take on the 300 theme. Who new ancient Sparta was just a foreshadow of Mario foreshadowing 300.

Toys!

Opensource it!

One of the things that fascinates me and keeps my brains in a state of constant pondering the most is the physics of light. Kaleidoscopes always seemed extremely magical to me because of the way they bend light and create those vibrant displays of symmetry. Here's a digital kaleidoscope I had some fun playing with. Don't get sucked in.

Why the moon?

Opensource it!

Here's some info on the possible plans for the moon, along with some interesting facts. So the moon was created from the remnants of an ancient collision between the Earth and a lost planet? Could it have possibly been the elusive planet X aka Nibiru found in ancient Sumerian lore? Stumbleupon Nibiru

Panda comic

Opensource it!

I like pandas. I like webcomics. Look what I just found. My babylon. If you come across any good webcomics let drop me a line and a link. My email is here somewhere. I judge art first, then content. I find that a badly drawn comic is hard to read. Kinda like badly drawn people.

Dude falling.

Opensource it!

If you're anything like me you have a good appreciation of flash content. I've played around with flash and trust me, it's not easy to manipulate without a lot of practice. I'm always happy to see what talents others bring to the net. This is a nice techno piece. Enjoy.

Deleted Vader death scene

Opensource it!

Check this deleted scene from Star Wars. This is how I'd want to die. If Darth Vader wasn't my hero before, he is now.

How sweet

Opensource it!

True naïveté makes this world a better place. This comic brings warmth to my heart and brains. This is a post from Applegeeks Lite. Cuz Applegeeks just isn't enough. I'm insatiable.

WebComics!

Opensource it!

You like web comics? I do, very much so. I waste a lot of time catching up with my favorite ones. If you're doing something you enjoy is it really wasting time? Regardless, here's a good page to pilfer through. Keep in mind that you'll most likely see more nots than wants but, trust me. Webcomics are free! Browsing comics is easy. Just pick a genre and browse. Here's a list of some of my recommendations. Checkem out, support the arts.

20 things about DaVinci

Opensource it!

I like lists, top 10, top 20. I like em. One of my favorite aspects of the Letterman show is the top ten lists. Funny shit. I stumbled upon this list about Da Vinci. Did you know he beat a sodomy rap? Anyway, check it out. I thought it was interesting. Gotta love the lists. One day I'll create my own on top reasons linux is better than windows, or why I like burnettes over blondes. Anyway, enjoy, ya heard.

Mouse Partaaay!

Opensource it!

Ever wonder what drugs do to affect the brain and give you the "high"? This flash toon goes over the effects of various drugs on the reward center of the brain. I now know where the term "dope" came from. Certain drugs effect dopamine levels, while others effect serotonin levels. I'm assuming that the more a drug effects the reward center, the more addicitve. Thats why X and weed aren't as addicting as the rest.

The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts

Opensource it!

Intelligently made grooved spheres billions of years old? Humans co-existng with dinosaurs? Ancient batteries? Have humans been roaming the earth longer than we estimate? Do we err in our dating methods? How was this technology lost? If you ask me there's a combination of evidence of out of this world intelligence, ancient, lost civilizations, and proof that everything we think we know about the world is waaaaay off. Is there evidence of time travel in here somwhere? Read this article and ponder what could really be out there. Can you imagine ancient humans performing brain surgery? I wonder how much a flight to egypt would have cost me in 1007ad. Dammit, I want answers.
